Nigerian veteran broadcaster Aisha Bello Mustapha, popularly known on NTA Network News at 9 p.m., has passed away.
After an extraordinary 35-year career, Aisha, who rose to prominence as a newsreader on NTA Network News at 9 p.m. in the 1990s and early 2000s, passed away.
The cause of her death is currently unknown.
Her family confirmed her passing in a statement: “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma.
“Her funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at the central mosque in Abuja at 1 pm on Monday, 11th December 2023.”
