The singer is in high spirits ahead on the upcoming Grammys Awards in February.
As Nigerian musicians turn their attention to the 2024 Grammys Awards, Ayra Starr has stated that she is fully prepared for the upcoming event.
The sensational singer revealed this during an interview with popular OAP DOTUN of Cool FM Lagos. According to her, she has already prepared her dress, walk, and even her acceptance speech for the 66th Grammys Awards.
When quizzed about what she would do first once the wins the award, the ‘Rush’ singer said she intends to visit her favourite Chinses restaurant to eat then video call her mother afterwards.
“I have my speech. I have everything done already. I already know my walk and my outfit” Ayra said.
Her record-breaking song ‘Rush’ has been nominated for the Best African Song Performance. This is her first nomination in the maiden category of the awards alongside Nigerian stars, Davido, Asake, Olamide, Burna Boy and South Africa’s Tyla.
The 66th edition of the Grammys Awards is set to hold on the 5th of February in Crypto Arena in Los Angeles USA and it will be hosted by South Africa’s comedian Trevor Noah.
