Idris Elba is a talented actor/producer/director and musician. He became famous through his roles in TV series such as “The Wire” and “Luther”. Also, his role as Nelson Mandela in the biography film “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” boosted his popularity.

John Legend

The fourth black man to be named the sexiest man alive is the super talented John Roger Stephens known professionally as John Legend. The megastar is one of the sixteen people in the world and the first black man to achieve the milestone of winning all the four major annual American entertainment awards: (EGOT: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony).

The “Black Panther” and “Creed” star, in 2020 became the fifth man of colour to be named People’s Sexiest Man Alive. Michael B. Jordan is a talented American actor and producer.

For three consecutive years (2018-2020) men of colour emerged as the sexiest men alive which is a huge step up compared to how the list was dominated by white men in the 90s. Anyways, the 2021 sexiest man alive is Paul Rudd.
