Manchester United’s legend, Roy Keane has slammed the club’s display against Tottenham Hotspur as disgraceful.
The former United captain believes the players showed no enthusiasm to play for the manager and that could ultimately cost him his job. United suffered a humiliating 6-1defeat in the hands of Spurs on Sunday at Old Trafford.
A Bruno Fernandes penalty had given Manchester united an early lead which lasted for two minutes. Spurs would peg back through Tanguy Ndombele and completely take charge of the match from then on. United saw Anthony Martial sent off after a fracas with Erik Lamela.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men languish in 16th position after just three league games. A run which includes a loss to crystal palace on the opening day and a narrow win against Brighton last weekend.
Roy Keane who was part of the United team that won the treble alongside Solskjaer thinks that certain players are not giving their all to the manager. He believes this was the case with Jose mourinho while he was head coach at united.
He told ITV Sport: ” The performance against Spurs was disgraceful. We’ve all been in football, we’ve had bad days but i thought it was a disgrace to the badge some of the players’ performance. Too many bluffers.
“Ultimately, I think it will cost Ole his job. With the players he’s got there.
“I’ve said it before, they threw the previous manager [Mourinho] under the bus and they’ll do exactly the same to Ole.”
United would have a chance to bounce back to winning ways when they face Newcastle in the Premier League on October 17.
