Nigerian female student, Ogwubie Chikemzi Praise has made distinctions( A’s) in all her 9 West African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE) papers.

The news of Miss Praise outstanding result was made known by a twitter handle identified as Ikwerre Youth Movement Television.

However, reports from Ikwerre Youth Movement Television did not state that Miss Praise result was from the 2020 results released on November 2, 2020.

WAEC announced the release of results saying:

“This is to inform candidates that sat West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020 that the results of the exam will be released by @waecnigeria tommorow, Monday, November 2, 2020 by 10:30am,” WAEC wrote.

The screenshot shared by the twitter handle that showed Miss Praise WASSCE result, revealed that her subject combinations are English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Data Processing, Geography, Civic Education, Physics and Computer Studies.

Meanwhile, Candidates who want to check their results should log into www.waecdirect.org, when you do this follow these simple steps:

  1. Input your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. 
    (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
  2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year i.e the year you took the examination e.g 2020
  3. Select the Type of Examination, this could be either ‘school candidate result or private candidate result’
  4. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
  5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
  6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
