We all grew up to the slogan “Warri no dey carry last, at worst na draw.” This slogan was coined because it is believed that the people of Warri are very smart and would find their way out of any situation. In this year’s Big Brother Naija Neo just proved the Warri slogan to be the hard truth.

Both Neo and his girlfriend Vee are in the finals after successfully tricking their various teammates into not nominating their romantic partners. While this action sparked outrage on social media, with fans of other housemates calling them cunning and manipulative; the game is the game. Kudos to the smart couple they both played on the intelligence of the other housemates and triumphed.

Sadly, Ozo had to be the casualty of his team’s unwise decision. He couldn’t beat top contenders like Laycon and Dorathy. If only his team had nominated Vee and not Laycon he would have had a place in the finale. His eviction proves that my assertions in the article; Shocking Reasons Why Kiddwaya was Evicted and the Housemate Set to Benefit were correct.

Nonetheless, I am in awe of the fact that Neo was never put up for eviction by the other housemates throughout weeks of individual nominations. The Warri drip lord was only up for nomination during the weeks Biggie placed all housemates for eviction. Truly he proved himself to be a master of manipulation. He was a friend to all and was hardly a true friend to most. A real gamer.

So once again another Deltan made it to the finals. Whether he wins or not, he made the top five and sleekly avoided nominations. His game plan might not be the best as it didn’t build his fan base, nevertheless, it was the first of its kind.

During the final polls, Neo is most likely to end up like Omashola by coming fourth. The Efe of this season is most likely going to be Laycon as long as his team maintain or improve their voting strength.

The game is coming to an end this Sunday and our finalists are;

  • Laycon
  • Dorathy
  • Nengi
  • Neo
  • Vee

This year we have more women than men in the finale. Cheers to all who made that possible, because last year Mercy was the sole female finalist and she won.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, who do you think will emerge as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season Five? Will it be Laycon or would we be surprised during the final polls? Also, If Laycon wins, who will be the last girl standing?

Last Week Polls

Laycon got over 50 percent of the votes and he is the first housemate in the history of BBN to hit one million followers on Instagram while still in the house. Baba moved from 3 thousand followers to over one million in less than 71 days. Even Tacha who had a sizable amount of followers before going into the house could not achieve a million followers while still in the house. Kudos to his PR team.

In the end, may the best man or woman win? Voting ends on Friday by 10 pm. Best of luck to the finalists.
