Wizkid performed his hit song “Essence” alongside the American superstar.

The Nigerian singer was a guest artiste at the Made in America music festival held at Philadelphia, were he performed his “Essence” song with Justin Bieber.

Justin Bieber was featured on the remix of Wizkid’s “Essence” song featuring Tems, which has since continued to top charts in the United States.

Tuesday was the first time they would perform the song together on stage and they didn’t disappoint.

Since the remix of the song dropped, it has garnered momentum to the top of music charts in notable platform across the USA.

In July, “Essence” broke into the Billboard top 100 chart at No. 82, making Wizkid become the first Nigerian artiste to have a record on the chart.

It didn’t stop there. “Essence” continued to rise week after week until it peaked No. 13 on the chart recently. In August, it became the most Shazamed song in the United States for the reviewed week.

The song still maintains the No. 1 spot on the Billboard R&B chart in the US, with no thoughts of leaving our ears soon.
