APC leader, Bola Tinubu has finally reacted to allegations over him being the perpetrator of the shootings at lekki toll gate last night.
During a phone Interview with Channels TV on Wednesday, October 21st, Tinubu said that he can never be part of any carnage, and he also debunked claims that he had an investment in the Lekki tollgate.
“I will never, never be part of any carnage,” he said.
Tinubu also condemned the actions allegedly carried out by the Nigerian Army, asking the question, “Why will they use live bullets?”
Tinubu also appealed to the youths of Nigeria, and urged Lagos state governor, Sanwo-Olu to meet the demands of the protesters..
He noted that Sanwo-Olu has the interests of the protesters in his heart, and gave some instances to prove his point.
He said, ” That was why he (Sanwo-Olu) set up the Judicial Commission of Inquiry. The governor has gone to the home of one of the victims to appeal to them. He has put N200m together as part of restitution and compensation for those attacked.”
As the country goes through this dark time, please stay safe and continue to pray for peace to be restored in the country.
