The 20-year is still under investigation by the Police.

American multinational company, Nike has terminated their relationship with Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood.

A week ago, the 20-year old striker was accused of sexual harassment and domestic violence by his girlfriend Harriet Robson, who posted disturbing pictures and videos on her Instagram story.

These allegations drew a lot of reactions and Greenwood has since been taken into custody and questioned by the Greater Manchester Police. He has also been suspended by Manchester United football club.

Nike initially suspended their contract with the striker when these allegations surfaced, stating they will continue to monitor the situation closely.

“We have suspended our relationship with Mason Greenwood,” Nike said last week.

“We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and will continue to closely monitor the situation.”

However, a spokesman for the brand has revealed that they have decided to terminate the player’s contract.

“Mason Greenwood is no longer a Nike athlete,” a Nike spokesman told the Athletic.

This means that Greenwood would longer be an ambassador of the brand, although investigations are still undoing.

He has been granted bail by the Police while investigations are still undoing.
