I AM Laycon: Laycon Returns to Our Screen

There is a new Reality TV Show! The first Showmax Original Nigerian Reality TV Show. The show titled I AM Laycon is all about the rapper, singer and winner of the Big Brother Naija Season Five, Chief. Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, best known as Laycon.

The show which is exclusively streamed on Showmax, premieres today the 11th of February 2021. It can be streamed across Africa, and in more than 23 other countries outside the continent. For Example, Uk, France and lots more.

The show features his family, team, friends, events, studio sessions, and other housemates. The show is planned to have 10 beautiful episodes. Five episodes were aired today, the remaining five episodes will be aired sometime in March. The released episodes were met with awesome reviews, thanks to their quality and relatable content. However, a minimal controversy ensued. 

The only room for controversy is found in episode 1. Laycon in this episode reminisces on his emotional state in the house, and BBN clips that highlighted such scenarios were displayed. Anyone who watched the Lockdown season will best understand how controversial that topic is.

Information gained from the released episodes shows that fans of Laycon and lovers of music should get ready for some new sounds. Laycon plans on releasing both an EP and his debut album this year. Before the release of these projects, he will release a hit single. Fingers crossed.
