So today I’m going to do something totally different. I’m not going to indulge in my regular scribblings. Actually this was the first thing to come to my mind whilst thinking of what to write on. Peace of mind.

I’m not going to go on and on on what peace of mind is, I’m guessing we all know what it is but for the sake of those who do not, I think I might just talk about it on same later date.

Over the weekend I was fretting over a particular top (If you want to know what it was leave a comment) . So like I was saying, I was so bothered and disturbed in my spirit. It got so bad I had to isolate myself completely from everyone because I was already breaking down mentally.

I had a date but I couldn’t even pull myself together because my mind was clouded with worry. The weather, sensing my mood also played along making me more depressed. And that’s how I spent my Saturday on my bed with my system in front of me coupled with a racing heart a confused mind and a sad, tired body.

Regardless, I went to church the next day despite going to bed feeling worse. Whilst in church I prayed about what was troubling me, willing it to stop. And then hours later, I felt this peace in my heart and spirit and I’ve felt that way ever since. I stopped worrying about what as actually bothering me. I felt calmer and even happy, strange right? No. That was prayer at work.
So people, prayer does work. You have to trust it and believe it. You need to have faith and pray sincerely from your heart.
