Google is the most used search engine in Nigeria and the world. According to BBC pidgin news, the following are the top 10 searches made via Google in Nigeria.
Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner Laycon, emerged at number 6, while the president-elect of the United States, emerged as the number 1 most searched personality in Nigeria in 2020. A huge win for the reality star and rapper.

Also, the most searched questions on Google were;
The question “Who is Laycon?” Emerged as the seventh most asked question in Nigeria. Another huge win for Laycon, as the question is the same as the title of his EP “Who is Laycon.” “When is school resuming,” ranked as the second most asked question on Google. This goes to show just how fed up people are with the ongoing ASUU strike.
